Thiruparankundram
Thirupparankundram is sited 6kms southwest of Madurai. This place is viewed as one of the six house of Lord Subramaniyam.

Alagar Temple
About 21kms from the city of Madurai is located the wonderful temple of Azhagar Koil. The main divinity in this temple is as Vishnu who is also named by Azhagar.
Pazhamudhir Solai
Palamudhirsolai is located above Azhagar Koil in the hills about 4 kms away. It is one of the six important temples for Lord Muruga - Karthikeya. This is a very large and beautiful temple.
Naickar Mahal
Another main attraction is Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal. It is one of the vital tourist places in Madurai located very near to the temple.
